Opening Binder to Insert or Remove Leaves

Turn the Ring a few times to the left; thus unwinding the tape. grasp top cover and fly-leaf and pull apart as shown in the cut (Fig. 1) until sufficient tape is released and exposed to permit leaves to be easily handled.

Slide (not pull) the leaves across the tapé until proper place la reached, then slide the edge of tape into slot and bend remaining tongues of paper over the tape as shown in cut (Fig. 2); repeat this operation for all the holes.

To Remove Leaves from the Binder

Slide (not pull) the leaves to be removed to center of exposed Lape and away from remaining leaves, grasp them at top, bending downward as shown in cut (Fig. 3), This will release them.

TO CLOSE BINDER

Lay all the leaves carefully over to the right side and pull tape through them by grasping top fly-leaf and top cover as shown in (Fig. 1); turn Ring to RIGHT until all the tape is wound and book tightened, then turn Ring to an UPRIGHT POSITION which locks the Binder.

Do not use any more force than is employed by turning the Ring firmly with the hand.
