Page 31 - These recommendations relate to: โ (1) Abolition of Intermediaries; (2) Tenancy reforms, eg, security of tenure to the tenants, provision of fair rents and a right of purchase for the tenants; (3) Fixation of ceiling on land holding and the distribution of the surplus land; (4) Improvement of the conditions of the agricultural workers; and (5) Co-operative organisation of agriculture with the ultimate objective of cooperative village management.โ
