Whenever the following public annuities fhall determine by expiration of the term for which granted, viz.

Thofe for one, two, or three lives, by 5 W. & M. c. 20. on two-fevenths of 9s. per barrel excife.

Thofe for one, two, or three lives, by 2 and 3 of Q. Ann.

Thofe for ninety-nine years, by 3 and 4 Q. A. and charged upon the three thousand feven hundred pounds per

week excife.

The fpeaker of the houfe of-commons, chancellor of the exchequer, the mafter of the rolls, the accountant of the court of chancery, and the governor and deputy governor of the bank of England to be commiffioners, and may employ clerks, &c. and the bank to pay the money as ordered, and to make up an account annually, to be laid before parliament, with an account of their proceedings, and the like to be laid before the commiffioners for auditing public accounts. When the money received by the commiffioners amounts to 4,000,000l. per ann. the dividends of the flock paid off by them, to be confidered as redeemed by parliament. Same act, §

When the intereft of any redeemable ftock is reduced, or the capital paid off by money raised at a lower intereft, a fum equal to the intereft fo faved, to be iffued quarterly from the confolidated fund, and placed to the account of the commiflioners for reduction of the national debt; and when the dividends placed to their account amount to 3,000,000l. exclufive of the quarterly fums to be iffued from the exchequer, the dividends on flock paid off to be confidered as redeemed. Same act, § 2. Exchequer to keep a feparate account of the intereft of new loans; and if provision be not made for paying them

off, as mentioned in this act, an additional fum, equal to one hundredth part of the stock, to be iffued from the exchequer quarterly, and placed to the account of the commiffioners; and if fuch loans be raised by annuities for any term longer than forty-five years, &c. ; one hundredth part of the value of fuch as may be expected to be then outstanding, to be iffued, and the computation of fuch value to be made by the commiffioners, and copies delivered to the fpeaker of the house of commons, who is to certify to the treasury and exchequer the amount of the additional fum to be iffued. Sums iffued under this act to be iffued in the order the loans have taken place; and whenever there fhall not be moncy of the confolidated fund fufficient to pay the further fum to be iffued in confequence of any new loan, the deficiency fhall be made good, as directed by 26 G. 3. c. 31.; and any deficiency in the quarterly payments at the end of the. year, to be made good out of any fupplies granted for the current, or any. preceding year. Monies placed to the account of the commiffioners to be applied as mentioned in this act; and the ftock redeemed to be transferred to their account, and the dividends placed thereto and fums placed to their account in con. fequence of any new loan, to be kept feparate; and perfons counterfeiting certificates, to fuffer death as felons. Naturalization.

All perfons born out of the legiance of great Britain, whofe father, by 4 G. 2. C. 21. was entitled to the rights of natural born fubjects, to be deemed fuch, &c.; but the provifoes in 4 G. 2. not repcaled, nor 5 G. 1. altered, nor any vefted right defeated. 13 G. 3. c. 21. vol. 30.
