As in The President's 1972 Environmental Program, we have included proposed legislation together with the letters of transmittal to the Congress and analyses of the bill. We have also included a brief description of other initiatives that do not require legislation or for which legislation is being prepared. We hope that these materials will be helpful to you in more fully understanding the problems of our environment and the President's proposals for their solution.
