Biemiller, director of the Department of Legislation, AFL-CIO, accompanied by Larry Rogian, director of the department of education. I do not flatter you, gentlemen, when I say I want to express on this public record the appreciation of the chairman of this entire subcommittee the great help of both you and Mr. Meany and the others in the AFL-CIO who have always come to the support of needed education legislation. And I refer specifically to the great help that Mr. Meany was to this chairman in connection with the recently passed PerkinsMorse elementary and secondary school bill.
