SUPPLEMENTARY LIST OF PUBLICATIONS OF THE NATIONAL BUREAU OF STANDARDS

January 1, 1932 to June 30, 1936

This list is issued as a companion to the Supplementary List of Publications of the Bureau of Standards, July 1, 1925, to December 31, 1931. It is hoped that in the near future a second supplement, similar in form to the one just mentioned, can be issued containing abstracts and index to the publications noted herein.

Ordering.-Copies of the publications in this list, with the exception of those marked with an asterisk (*) to indicate that they are out of print, may be purchased from the Superintendent of Documents, United States Government Printing Office, Washington, D. C., at the prices indicated. Money orders, etc., should be made payable to the Superintendent of Documents. A discount of 25 percent is allowed on orders for 100 or more copies. No charge is made for postage on publications sent to addresses in the United States and its possessions, or to Canada, Cuba, Mexico, Newfoundland, the Philippines, or the Republic of Panama. When remitting for delivery to other countries, include in the remittance, in addition to the price of the publication, about one-third the price quoted, to cover postage. If the amount remitted is more than is required, the balance will be refunded. Do not send orders to the National Bureau of Standards.

New publications.-Those who desire to keep informed of new publications as issued are advised to subscribe to the Technical News Bulletin. This is a small pamphlet, issued monthly by the Bureau, which in addition to describing progress of work in its laboratories and containing summaries of the official reports of the Bureau, lists new publications released. The Technical News Bulletin is obtainable at 50 pents per year (70 cents, foreign), from the Superintendent of Documents.

Publications issued prior to 1932.-A complete list of publications for the period 1901 to June 30, 1925, may be obtained for 25 cents by ordering Circular C24, 7th edition, from the Superintendent of Documents. A list of those issued from July 1, 1925, to December 31, 1931, is contained in the 1925-31 Supplement to Circular C24, also obtainable for 25 cents.

The present annual subscription rate to the Journal of Research of the National Bureau of Standards is $2.50 per year ($3.25, foreign). Twelve monthly numbers are issued each year-two volumes of six

numbers each. The volume index is carried in number 6 of the volume. A printed title page, corrections, and table of contents for each volume is sent to subscribers, but copies may also be purchased

at 5 cents each.

Cloth-bound volumes.-Volumes 1 to 6, price $2.75 each; volumes 7 to 15, price $3 each. For shipment to foreign countries add 50 cents to the price of each volume.
