CREEDS HILL STATION

On beach 2 mi. S. of Frisco

This station was established in 1879. It is now inactive. From 1879 to 1918 it was located in the old Creeds Hill Station, which was condemned and disposed of when the present building was erected. Useless papers are destroyed after three years.

KILL DEVIL HILL STATION
Kill Devil Hill Beach

This station was established in 1878. A building erected in 1878 and now used for storage of records and supplies was occupied until 1929, when the station was moved approximately 200 feet to the newly erected building which it now occupies. Weekly and monthly reports are sent to Washington. Useless papers are destroyed.

This station was established in 1874. It is now inactive. Until 1911 it was located on the beach nearby, in one of two buildings which are now used for storage purposes. Weekly and monthly reports are sent to Washington. General records from 1911 to 1916 have been destroyed. Useless papers are destroyed.

N.B. The old station building, which was constructed in 1874, is now used for storage of records from the district office at Elizabeth City. Among these records are log books from Bulow and Smith's Creek.
