CAPE FEAR QUARANTINE AND RELIEF STATION

This office was established in 1896. From 1896 to 1934 it occupied the Cape Fear Quarantine Station. When this station burned February 28, 1934, an office was opened in the Morrison Building. Practically all records prior to 1934 were lost.
