I had to attend another committee meeting, the Rules Committee. Now we are ready to proceed and I see that the first witness is Mr. David H. Mr. Chairman, I am Alex Dickie, Jr., administrative assistant to Senator Yarborough and, while Senator Yarborough could not be here at this time, he wanted to support the testimony of these gentlemen that they are prepared to give at this time. Senator COOPER. That is very good, and I know that Senator Yarborough is interested, and I am sure that he will appear later and present his own testimony. Mr. SCHMIDT. Mr. Chairman, I am Fred Schmidt, and Mr. Kelsey Meek is also here, and we are on the staff of Congressman Gonzalez, and I just wanted to say that Congressman Gonzalez was requested especially by Chairman Patman to be present at their hearing this morning of the Committee on Banking and Currency.
